Range of services
Electrical installations
An electrical installation extends from the main distribution board to every final circuit – socket outlet, lighting point, machine connection. In between lie rising mains, sub-distribution boards, cable trays and fire stopping – on new builds according to the drawings, in conversions according to what the site visit reveals.
The distribution system operator brings the service connection up to the main service fuse in the basement. On the power side, we build main and sub-distribution boards with main switches, overcurrent protective devices, miniature circuit breakers and residual current devices. We install lighting and emergency lighting, T13 and T23 socket outlets and power connections, and connect kitchen, ventilation and production equipment.

On the ELV side, we install the cabling for communication, control and security and connect the installation to building automation – via KNX bus or volt-free contacts, with labelled terminal blocks and documented addresses.
Before handover, we measure protective conductor continuity, insulation resistance and loop impedance, and test the tripping of every residual current device. After every new installation and every modification, you receive the safety certificate required by law (NIV). You also receive the measurement and inspection report and the circuit diagrams of the distribution boards.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a safety certificate after the installation?
Yes. The Low-Voltage Installation Ordinance (NIV) requires a safety certificate for new installations and modifications. You receive it from us after acceptance.
Can you replace a main distribution board in an occupied building?
Yes, in stages, with interruptions announced in advance for each riser or floor. We provide the tenant notice.
How does the enquiry process work?
You call or write to us. We look at the property on site, and you then receive a quotation with a schedule and a named contact person.
